Letter from A.D. Sevier to Governor H.H. Haight complaining of Indian attacks – says U.S. Army can’t help – wants Governor to authorize volunteer company and arm them with Henry rifles. Sends a news clipping with letter. Written in Rohnerville, Humboldt County, April 2, 1869.
